The collection includes a telegraph sent by Alcock and Brown from Clifden, Ireland to the Vickers mechanics at St Johns, Newfoundland; a passport of Harold F. Potter, aeroplane instructor; a file of minutes and correspondence from the Manchester Chief Committee Clerks Office Ceremonies Section relating to the civic recognition of Sir John Alcock and Lieutenant Sir Arthur Whitten Brown; a programme from a Manchester Town Hall reception to meet Alcock and Brown, and signed on the reverse; a letter from Jack Alcock to Mr. Gibbons relating to a loaned camera; and a postcard sent by Jack Alcock to Fred Moseley from Kédos Prisoner of War camp in Turkey.
