- Letters from Henry Harvey to Richard and Jane Trevithick
- maker:
- Harvey, Henry
Harvey is glad that Trevithick is soon to return to Cornwall "as it is quite necessary to make some settlement at Penpons" however it is reported that "Mr Grylls is angry that Trevithick has taken up the deed without consulting him". There is discussion over field usage and a statement that a Mr Knapp has broken his contract for use of the land. Harvey will take no steps with Knapp and will leave Trevithick to deal with the matter on his return. The letter also deals with the equal division of Trevithick's mother's estate (she had destroyed the will) and the likely sums.
