Correspondence to and from Grasemann from various dates during his career and retirement, including memos.

Bundle 1 (items 1-23) contains various correspondence, including from colleagues soliciting advice regarding contractors; from a junior member of staff expressing his enjoyment of his work; from R.M.T. Richards, Southern Railway Traffic Manager, asking for Grasemann's details to pass on to Brussels as he has been selected for decoration (this includes handwritten education and work history on back). There are a number of letters and telegrams sent on the occassion of Grasemann's retirement.

Bundle 2 (items 24-29) contains letters and Christmas cards from Field Marshall Slim, including some from Australia.

Bundle 3 (items 30-34) contains letters and invitations relating to Grasemann receiving the Legion d'Honneur and the Chevalier de l'Ordre de la Courunne, including letters on regulations for wearing the insignia from Buckingham Palace. Correspondence between Grasemann and editors of several publications, with drafts of articles attached. Item 35 is a bound volume, containing a memo from [?]H.F. Davis, and a typescript of his work '"Overlord". The Southern Railway Plays its Part in the Allied Liberation of the Continent', which is 62 pages long and autographed beginning and end '[?]H.F. Davis'. The author begs Grasemann's consideration of the typescript.
