They are two single sheets of heavy paper, entitled 'Presentation to C. Grasemann, Esq. by the Locomotive Department Staff at Exmouth Junction. February 1930', and 'Presentation to C. Grasemann, Esq[re] by his colleagues at Exeter, February 1930', both of which contain a list of subscribers, and a parchment and red ribbon bound booklet, entitled 'Vale...Cuthbert Grasemann December 1950'. The booklet contains pasted-in cuttings related to his retirement, signatures of subscribers, loose-leaf photographs and a card. The series also contains extracts and drafts of articles and lectures; a handwritten summary biography of Grasemann, and a handwritten summary of Grasemann's career, up to and including employment in 1919, entitled 'Railway Experience'.
