A collection made up of several groups of material which relate to various aspects of Basil Binyon’s career. One of these are the two diaries which relating to his experimental work conducted between 1914 and 1916 on airborne radio equipment. There is also a folder of material relating to a paper he produced in early 1914 entitled ‘Production of Continuous Waves by High Frequency Dynamo Machines’. Beyond this there are a number of catalogues produced by the Radio Communication Company along with copies of various papers and articles relating to radios, some of which have notes and corrections attached. Finally, there is a small collection of material relating to the 40th and 50th anniversaries of the BBC.
