A letter from Norman Lea, 9 Orchard Close, Beehive Lane, Chelmsford To Basil Binyon forwarding a letter that he has sent to the Science Museum in response to a request of information and stating. Also included is a copy letter from Norman Lea, 9 Orchard Close, Beehive Lane, Chelmsford to G.R.M. Garratt, Deputy Keeper, Science Museum, South Kensington, London SW7 dated 2nd November 1965 and entitled Wireless in the R.N.A.S. and R.A.F. This gives an account of the work undertaken by Lea, Binyon and others involved in the development of wireless in the Royal Naval Air Service, and later Royal Airforce, during the First World War. This has been annotated by Basil Binyon in places with additional information.
