W.R.D. Manning's diary for 1950 containing details of his work including meetings and experiments. Also included is a letter from J.H. Awbery, Ministry of Supply, Division of Atomic Energy to W.R.D. Manning, I.C.I. Plastics Division dated 18th November 1950 thanking him for the copies of report BI.84(DI.84) as well as copy of a note from W.R.D. Manning, Assistant Chief Engineer to R.H. Dibb, Chief Engineer dated 22nd November 1950 and entitled Polythene Committee raising the point that there was no-one from the plastics division on this committee. Finally there is a note from R.B. Brown, Secretary, Overseas Directors' Conference, dated 28th November 1950 asking for approval for a proposed trip by W.R.D. Manning and J. Browning to the U.S.A.
