A series of handwritten notes entitled overstrain and fracture along with a typed draft of a paper by W.R.D. Manning entitled 'The Overstrain of Tubes by Internal Pressure', a reprint of this paper from a copy of Engineering 9th February 1945 and a copy of a letter from Manning to Edmund, Maes Alyn Hotel, near Mold, Flintshire dated June 1944 forwarding the paper.
