After completing the transfer of the Elliott 401 to Rothamsted, Harry Carpenter represented NRDC in discussions with Ferranti�s London Computer Centre regarding the development of Ferranti�s Packaged Computer number 1 (FPC1), later called Pegasus. This file of more than 30 items covers technical specifications, contractual matters, notes of meetings, etc. that mark NRDC�s interest in sponsoring Pegasus. Amongst the names mentioned are: W S Elliott, C E Owen, H J Crawley, B W Pollard, C H Devonald, W G Welchman, B B Swann, C Strachey. Amongst technical matters covered are loading rules, power supplies, instruction set, character codes, etc. Includes Ferranti brochures
