Covering letter with two enclosed documents sent by Fleming, Director of the Research and Education Departments at Metropolitan-Vickers Electrical Co Ltd, to Redfern as the guardian of John (Jack) Squires. The documents consist of a copy of the Binding Form, which officially bound Squires as an Apprentice Instrument Maker to the company, and a sheet listing the rates of pay for apprentices.
