Clarke's magneto electric machine

Clarke's magneto-electric machine 1836-1857. Like Saxton's machine, it uses motion in a magnetic field to produce a current. The only significant difference being that this machine uses an electro-magnet not a permanent magnet. Clarke invented the machine in 1835, and J. Newman manufactured it bewteen 1836 and 1837.
