Gonadotraphic hormones are produced by the pituitary gland. They affect the production of oestrogen and progesterone by the body. These two hormones are vital for reproduction. This box contains five sterile ampoules of Gonadotraphon and five vials of solvent to be mixed with the hormone for intramuscular injection. Gonadotraphic hormones were first used therapeutically in the 1930s. Multiple births resulted from their use in cases of infertility.
