Quiet Life Tablets were made by G. R. Lane Health Products in England. They were advertised as a non-habit forming natural plant remedy to relieve stress. The manufacturer states they are effective for nerve strain, tenseness and irritability. Adults took two tablets twice a day with meals, plus two or three at bedtime. Quiet Life Tablets are typical of a range of anti-stress remedies sold ‘over the counter’ in chemists across the country.
