Rectangular, iron chest with no contents. Handles at each end. False lock on the front, elaborate main lock with 12 bolts covering underside of the lid. Lock is pierced and engraved (four heads wearing Spanish helmets surrounded by elaborate floral trellis). Two keys. Reputedly medical, Spanish, 1600-1800.
