Wooden medicine chest
Wooden medicine chest, with removable draw and space for 13 medicine bottles, part of a medicine chest owned by George Washington, unsigned, United States, 1780-1799. The top handle plate is engraved ‘G W’. Inside is an attached note of provenance from George Washington to William Lanier Washington.
