Railway wagon, covered van, London & North Western Railway, Serial No 35 of 1917.

Wagons such as this were a key part of the freight industry. Covered wagons offered protection from the weather and were used to transport sensitive or valuable goods. The hinged doors have a ramp that would lower onto the platform to aid loading and unloading goods.
