Painting, oil on board, York Station by Bertram Curry (Bert Curry), 1913. Depicts a view of the concourse showing the entrances to waiting rooms and the refreshment room. There are advertisements on the walls, a map in glazed tiles of the North Eastern Railway network and a newspaper headline reading "Awful pit disaster". Signed and dated by the artist at bottom right. Removed from frame.
