Oil painting, Fishguard to Rosslare, by L A Wilcox, 1954. Depicts the TSS St David passenger ferry leaving Fishguard on a voyage across the Irish Sea. There are passengers on the upper decks and a yacht sailing at the ferry's port side. At the left side of the painting are the harbour wall and lighthouse. Signed by the artist at bottom right. Original painting for the British Rail (Western Region) poster Fishguard-Rosslare, shortest route to and from southern Ireland.
