Painting, oil on canvas, Dovercourt Bay, Harwich, by Wilfred Moody Fryer, 1958. Depicts a crowded beach scene, with children building a sandcastle and a girl in a pink swimsuit playing with a beach ball. Beyond, protected by sea walls, is the Cliff Pavilion, with the letters 'EIIR' prominent at the apex of its roof. There are yachts in the sea in the distance. Original artwork for British Railways (Eastern Region) poster. Signed by the artist at bottom right. Unframed.
