Painting, oil on canvas, portrait of Lord Hurcomb, Chairman, British Transport Commission, 1947-1953, by Norman Hepple, 1955. Depicts Cyril Hurcomb with grey hair and dressed in a morning suit with a blue and black striped tie. He is seated in a chair, with his left arm resting on an arm of the chair, and the other in his lap. Signed and dated by the artist at bottom left. Framed. Plaque on frame has the inscription "The Right Honourable Lord Hurcomb, GCB, KBE, Chairman, British Transport Commission, 1947 - 1953'.
