The Double Spectre engine - a variant of the single chambered engine (1962-105) - was used in trial versions of the Blue Steel stand off bomb. Operational Blue Steels were fitted with a Stentor rocket engine (1972-80). Both the Double Spectre and the Stentor burned kerosene in concentrated hydrogen peroxide (High Test Peroxide - HTP).
