In the foreground is Battle of Britain class 4-6-2 Pacific locomotive No 34087 '145 Squadron' with another engine of the same class approaching with a passenger train. On nearby lines are electric and steam trains. Signed by the artist at bottom right. Framed and glazed. Original artwork for British Railways (Southern Region) poster.
