Screw-thread correcting lathe, MkII made by Glenfield and Kennedy for Bryant & Simmons, c. 1910, with one case of 27 change-wheels and other accessories, and detached change-wheel guard. Before the introduction of thread-grinding, machines like this were important in the manufacture of precision screws for screwing tackle and micrometer measuring machines
