Table Engine by Maudslay, Sons and Field, 1840
Steam table engine, 24" stroke by Maudslay, Sons and Field, 1840 with fly wheel outer bearing, steam stop valve and also the original steam piston. This type of engine was patented by Henry Maudslay in 1807 and found widespread use in workshops and small factories where space was limited.
