Two samples of globigerina ooze recovered from the bed of the North Atlantic during the cruise of HMS "Bulldog", 1860. One sample recovered at 1913 fathoms, between Greenland and Labrador. The other sample recovered at 1260 fathoms, between Greenland and Iceland
