
Sea-bed samples recovered by HMS "Bulldog" and HMS "Challenger"
Remaining (approximately 22) sea-bed samples together with empty sample containers in respect of material recovered by HMS "Bulldog" in 1860, and HMS Challenger in 1872-76. A candidate to be sorted through. Samples include: Pteropod Ooze, Red Clay, Wet Globigerina Ooze, Small Manganese Nodules, Globigerina Ooze in the Dry Condition, Blue Mud and Wet Clay of Hawaii.
