Brass and iron mural arc of eight-foot radius, with incomplete fittings. Made in London by Jeremiah Sisson for King George III's private observatory at Richmond, where it was installed in 1770. Signed and dated 'J. Sisson. London. 1770.' and divided with 142-degree scale.
