Painting, oils, 'Cambridge', by Doris Zinkeisen, about 1930. Depicts Queen Elizabeth’s visit to Queens College in Cambridge in 1564. The Queen rides a prancing white horse. She wears a lavish black and gold velvet and silk dress with matching black-feathered hat. The horse wears pink trappings and has a pink plume on its head. Behind the Queen clerics line up against the external walls of the college. To the right an archway leads to the college’s courtyard garden, which has box hedges and a fountain.
