Portrait, oil on canvas, Sir George Stegmann Gibb (1850-1925), General Manager, North Eastern Railway, 1891 - 1906, by Estella Canziani, 1911. Depicts Gibb, dressed in a brown suit with white shirt and red tie. He is seated, with his hands clasped, in a red upholstered chair, set against a background of green and gold wallpaper. Framed. Formerly displayed in the Boardroom of the North Eastern Railway Headquarters in York. Ornate moulded, gesso gilt, wooden frame.
