Soho reflex camera, Tropical model manufactured by Kershaw, sold by the London Camera Exchange, No. 2 Poultry, Cheapside, London, EC2, c. 1923. Single lens reflex for 3 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch plates in teak with bronzed brass. Cooke series II anastigmat lens fitted, F:&, f/4.5-32. No 56155 made by Taylor Taylor Hobson, ltd. Kershaw patent (22698-04) focal plane shutter 18/23/30/70/ 140/280/700/T. Sliding rising and cross front, rack and pinion focusing, ground glass reflex focusing screen. In fitted case with separate ground glass screen, three book form wooden dark slides, and wooden film pack adaptor. Overall (deployed): 320 mm x 195 mm x 215 mm.

The Soho was one of the most popular early single lens reflex cameras. The Tropical model was made of teak with brass fittings.
