Ensignette No. 2 camera c1912 Collapsing camera for 2 inch wide rollfilm 1 7/8 x 3 inches. Fitted with a simple lens f/11-32. Everset shutter 20/40/60/B/T. Brilliant reflecting rotating finder. Detachable spool holder. Patent No. 28464 1907. Manufactured by Houghtons Ltd., London. Overall (deployed): 68 mm x 126 mm x 112 mm.

The first Ensignette was introduced in 1909 for 1 ½" by 2 ¼" exposures on special size roll film. This camera, the Model 2, was released in 1912 and took 2" x 3" exposures on E2 roll film. The Ensignette is an early example of a miniature bellows, roll film camera. Designed by Swedish engineer Magnus Niell the Ensignette was a very popular camera and a number of different models were produced.
