Newman and Guardia twin-lens D.D. camera, 1893-1907. Twin lens reflex camera for 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 inch plates. Fitted with Anastigmat lenses: Taking No 65201 f/6-45: viewing lens no 65052 F6 inch Newman and Guardia patent shutter 2/4/8/16/32/64/100/T. Tack and pinion focusing, double extension. Reflex viewing screen with hood and magnifier. With a focal plane ground glass screen which can be removed. Two reflecting finders with two spirit levels are present. With a Newman and Guardia bag type plate changer with 12 metal plate holders with cut film sheaths. Leaver operated automatic exposure counter, No T621. With a sliding rising front.
