Turret with two lenses; Kodak Anastigmat F:25mm f/1.9 and Kodak Anastigmat F:2 1/2 inches, f/2.7; on 2-point bayonet mounts; folding optical frame finder, critical refelx focuser behind lens; clockwork drive 8-64 fps, single frame. Adjustable shutter - totally closing. Backwind, single frame shaft, hand turning option; interchangeable film magazine. Frame and footage counters. Control panel cover replaced by one form CK Special II.

The Cine-Kodak special was launched in 1933 aimed at advanced amateur and semi-professional filmmakers. It has a fully adjustable shutter, allowing fades, and a back wind which could be used to overlap scenes. This precision 16mm cine camera was Kodak's attempt to provide 35mm technique with 16mm running costs. The camera has a clockwork drive with a speed range of 8 to 64 frames per second.
