Pathe-Baby Cinecamera
Pathe Baby Cinecamera with motor drive. Serial No 056867. Trianar Krauss lens F:2cm, f/3.5, Serial No 237172. Folding frame finder; originally hand-turned; clockwork motor drive attached. Loaded with 9.5mm film charger.
The Pathe Baby 9.5mm cine camera dates from 1923. The film was loaded into small metal 'chargers' which contained around 30 feet of film. This system allowed for much easier film loading, with the charger slotting into the film mechanism. The camera was initially hand cranked, although a clockwork motor drive was available from 1926.
