Minutes, loose sheets of paper, Minutes of The Euston Squares, 1977-2011. The Euston Squares formed soon after the completion of the new Euston Station, "purely as a lighthearted social gathering of railway staff who were involved in the rebuilding and operating of the new station," according to the current Secretary. Meetings, or "Moots," are held twice yearly in April and October, but minutes were not kept until 1977. Various 'officials' were given titles such as 'Cravateer' and 'Scullion', while any member reaching his 80th birthday became a 'Venerable Square' and any reaching 90 'Most Venerable.'

[Further minutes were sent and added to the original donation. The Moot of 12 Oct. 2011 was the final one, as the Squares resolved to continue on an informal social footing.]
