Lancaster, 1887, Instograph stand camera, by J. Lancaster and Son. Folding stand camera, mahogany and brass fittings. Achromat Lancaster lens F:8" c.f.11 iris calibrated 10-40, time 1-16. Sliding rising front; double extension, swing back. Lancaster patent swing-out focusing screen. Shoe for concave lens viewfinder with rotating mask. Lancaster's patent rotating shutter. Tripod head fitted to camera; separate legs - 2 section folding - extending to 4' 6". Spiked tip. Black focusing cloth, two bookform double wooden darkslides.
