C.P. Stirns 'waistcoat' detective camera; photographische camera, made in Germany; agents J. Robinson and Sons, 172 Regent Street, London & Dublin. Circular metal camera for 14cm plate, 6 pictures 4cm diameter. Fixed focus and aperture, RR type lens. Rotating disc shutter, tensioned by wind on knob. Cord release (faulty). Fitting for knob cord. Single knob retains back. Nickel plated finish. (M1998)
