Lancaster Hand Detective camera
Collapsing camera for 1 1/2 x 2 inch plates. Fitted with a simple lens of fixed aperture. Small Instantograph type rotary shutter. Conical body of six cylindrical sections, erected by internal coil spring ( like the Lancaster watch camera). Collapses into small morocco covered box. Ground glass focusing screen. J Lancaster and son c.1895.
