Pathe Baby Cine Camera With Motor. Cine camera for 9.5mm film chargers. H. Rousel Kynor lens f/3.5-14 No.55870. Attached French made clockwork motor. Single speed with meter counter. Optical frame finder. No. 035887. Continuous, Paris. Originally hand-cranked, this is fitted with a French-made Motrix single speed clockwork motor attachment. This could expose less than half the film at one winding. The camera has a folding optical frame finder and a metre counter.

The Pathe Baby 9.5mm cine camera dates from 1923. The film was loaded into small metal 'chargers' which contained around 30 feet of film. This system allowed for much easier film loading, with the charger slotting into the film mechanism. The camera was initially hand cranked, although a clockwork motor drive was available from 1926.
