Mechanical drive from projector, connects through slipping clutch and worm drive rotating outer disc with synchronising mark. Electromagnetically operated ratchet driven inner wheel fed with pulses from battery and contact breaker in gramophone. Outer disc carries three slip rings with contacts connected to projector motor and resistance. Constructed by Arthur Kingston for Charles Pathe. 1908
