Brooch with two 40x50mm portraits of men set in gilded brass brooch mount. Glazed back with faded albumen print of man, daguerreotype portrait of man on reverse.

Photographic jewellery became popular in the early days of photography as a decorative and personal way to display pictures of loved ones.
