A photograph of a Leicester Square Theatre usherette, taken in August 1932 by James Jarché for the Daily Herald.

Ushers and usherettes were employed to show people to their seats in theatres and cinemas. The usherette holds a bundle of programmes for 'Non Stop Revels', a series of variety shows that ran back-to-back from 2pm to midnight. 'Non Stop Revels' ran from 1932 to 1933.
