Cased daguerreotype of a small dog, taken by an unknown photographer, April 1846. Red Morocco leather case with two latches. Plain red plush lining. Rectangular mat, no frame. Case 85x103mm. Daguerreotype 82x65mm. Picture quite good, head a little blurred by his movement. 'April '46' scratched on back of plate.
