Collection of black and white photographs
Collection of black and white photographs, cellulose acetate film and box of coloured glass. Box is comprised of: 7 x Bundles of black and white photographs, photographic prints and pages from Cambridge Ant. Society depicting European and English church interiors, exteriors, architectural details and religious artefacts. The photographs are contained in envelopes labelled ‘Guide photos’. Also included within the bundles are a group of portrait photographs including 7 x cabinet cards of children and women, a portrait of an elderly man and 2 x portraits of women, these may be photographs of the Gardner family dating from late 19th to early 20th century; 1 x small red box with embossed inscription ' Sanger Shepherd & Co 5, 6 & Grays Inn Passage, Holborn' containing coloured glass slides of red, green and blue; 1 x box labelled ‘Photo advertising – Miscellaneous- to be returned’ containing safety film acetate strips depicting Kodak advertising material and shop windows.
