Album of 45 black & white photographs titled "Victoria Station - Photographs of Premises let to separate tenants numbered to correspond with the Schedule and Plan of such premises." Photographs taken by the Valuation Office for the preparation of the draft valuation roll for the Southern Railway, circa 1936. The photographs show shops, kiosks, newsstands, bus stops, display cases, taxi ranks, advertisments etc. within and adjoining Victoria Station.

Photograph album "Lancaster-Morecambe-Heysham 1908 Rolling Stock & Overhead Equipment 6600V AC", from the Chief Mechanical & Electrical Engineer's Department, Nelson Street, Derby. Contains 22 black & white photographs of Lancaster-Morecambe-Heysham 50 cycle conversion electric stock built at Woverton (including interior), trial runs of original Lancaster-Morecambe-Heysham stock including views of motor car with a steam stock trailer attached and interiors, views of original overhead equipment, and erection of overhead equipment. The majority of the photographs have their negative numbers noted. Album numbered 10. 8.2283 x 11.1417 in.

Photograph album containing 34 photographs and 4 diagrams of gas turbine locomotive no. 18000. The locomotive was made by Brown Boveri of Baden, Switzerland, and tested by British Brown Boveri and British Railways (Western Region) as part of BR's exploration of gas turbine locomotives. The bogies and frame were made by the Swiss Locomotive Works (SLM) of Winterthur. The photographs were all take in Switzerland and show the locomotive at Basle station and at Brown Boveri's works at Baden. There are photographs of the internal machinery, bogies, frames, controls etc. The first photograph shows the locomotive at Basle with Brown Boveri's smaller gas turbine prototype locomotive no. 1101, which remained in Switzerland. The album was assembled as a presentation album to accompany the handover of the locomotive, and according to the donor only two albums were made. The album is accompanied by negatives of four of the pictures, and a print of a painting of the locomotive that was presented at the hand-over.

Brown leather cover with gold blocking and embossed leaf and flower pattern. Glazed oval apertures for a cabinet picture and two carte de visite. 13 pages, cut for cabinet photographs, 2 for cartes and 1 for small cartes. Some pages are printed with a flower motif in colour. Extension at the top of the back cover carries a clock in a brass mount. 'Stopper' covering the back of the movement marked 'By Royal Letters Patent' with the royal arms. Supporting foot missing and repaired.
