Box 3: Wooden box of black and white lantern slides depicting rural scenes; views of a train station; shop interiors; close-ups of trees and other plants. Box 4: Wooden box of black and white lantern slides depicting views of London, including landmarks such as Big Ben and Tower Bridge; gardens; and shop and house interiors

Collection of lantern slides: large wooden box with leather carrying handle labelled "Brian Coe Esq., Curator, The Kodak Museum, C/o Kodak Ltd., 190 High Holbern, London, WC1" on the exterior and "Telephone Glaxman 8958, A.F. Tschiffely" on the interior, containing coloured lantern slides depicting travels in the Americas, the majority of slides were produced by either B Carveth Wells, of 29 Southwick St., W.2. Tel.: Pad. 7680, or the National Geographic Society; wooden Collection of black and white and coloured lantern slides depicting biblical scenes and religious text; two wooden boxes labelled "Japan I" & "Japan II" containing coloured lantern slides depicting views of Japan

Collection of 4 wooden boxes of lantern slides. Box 1: Wooden box of black and white lantern slides depicting microscopic images and miscellaneous scientific subjects, there are some handwritten captions on the interior of the box lid; Box 2: Wooden box of black and white lantern slides depicting microscopic images of insects and insect parts; Box 3: Wooden box of black and white lantern slides depicting miscellaneous subjects, possibly from holidays around the UK, as images including city scenes, rural landscapes, and beaches, there are some handwritten captions on the interior of the box lid; Box 4: Wooden box of black and white lantern slides appearing to have come from a few distinct series: one set of lantern slides depicting statues, one set of lantern slides depicting views of the White Terraces in New Zealand from a series titled "New Zealand - Volcanic Eruptions, J.V."; and one set depicting views of Niagara falls. Mid-late 19th century

Collection of lantern slides

Collection of two wooden trays, each containing black and white lantern slides stored in individual brown or white envelopes, each numbered with a two or three digit number with a letter prefix. The boxes are labelled "Lantern Slides Negs L - O" & "Lantern Slide Negs P - T (with some miscellaneous negs". The lantern slides depict various different subjects. The brown envelopes contain lantern slides depicting a variety of miscellaneous subjects, including portrait and group pictures of individuals, and microscopic images. The white envelopes, all labelled "In case of non-delivery return to APEM Limited, Watford, Herts" appear to relate to scientific experiments, including a number of images which appear to have been taken in order to experiment with different photographic technologies and techniques, including graphs and tables relating to these experiments

The lantern slides contained in the brown envelopes depict subjects including city scapes; landscapes, including several depicting different mountain ranges. The white envelopes, all labelled "In case of non-delivery return to APEM Limited, Watford, Herts" appear to relate to scientific experiments, including a number of images which appear to have been taken in order to experiment with different photographic technologies and techniques, including graphs and tables relating to these experiments; There are also a smaller number of film negatives with microscopic images, and empty transparency mounts

Collection lantern slides: bundle of coloured and black and white lantern slides depicting city and rural scenes from around the world, including many of New Zealand, Norway, and the UK. The slides have typed captions detailing the image's subject, and many have the initials J.V., which is possibly a reference to the photographer; cardboard box of black and white and coloured lantern slides depicting a variety of subjects including religious art, portrait and half portrait images of individuals, views of cities and rural scenes; wooden box of black and white lantern slides: "Imperial LEcture "How a Photographic Plate is made". A handwritten note accompanying the box notes that nos 11, 12, 23, & 27 were missing when the set arrived
