Telegraph block instrument; G. K. Winter/J. Craik (Patents: 1880/1885). Combined absolute non-pegging 1-needle (black) 2-position/2-indication "Cleared" (black)/"On Line" (red) (Sending: "Train Going To"), behind/above which is mounted a bell-assembly and below which is a central brass-mounted, large black-bakelite bell-plunger. In the centre of the base-board is painted in white a letter "A", and to the left of which is a small black-bakelite plunger. The instrument is missing its cover-case, removed to show mechanism.
