Marconi Mk IX television camera head.

Studio and OB colour television camera which is highly automated. It used 30mm lead oxide (Plumbicon tm) tubes, the red target being extended to see red better. For snooker matches in the early days of colour TV a special set of balls were used because of this red deficiency. Sensitivity is 50 lux at f2.2 with 12db of gain. Features auto set up for: registration, black and white colour balance.
