65x75mm Red Morocco book-type case with ornate gilt clasp. Stamped pattern on front and back with plain gold leaf line edging. Lined with plain red plush. Gilt around edges. Oval gilt mat with pattern pinchbeck frame. Lacquer and Velvet. 42x55mm three quarter portrait three quarter face young lady wearing striped dress. Seated at table holding book. Gilt on brooch and dress buckle. Face and hands tinted pink.
