58x70mm Red Morocco leather box with lift up lid, single latch. Lined with plain red plush. Orante oval gilt mat,stamped 'Dean & Emerson, Patent applied for, Worcester Mass., No 17'.Lacquer back, pinchbeck frame. Paper at back dated May 21st 1860. 38x50mm half portrait of young woman, seated in profile. Wearing cameo brooch. Face tinted pink.
